Overview

This adventure will begin with a 2 ½ hour drive from Coco to the National Park. The moderate to advanced hike to the Volcano Tenorio will take between 2 to 3 hours (approximately 4miles/roundtrip). Enjoy the hike through the tropical rain forest and see the beautiful and plentiful plants and animals. Arrival will be at the Rio Celeste (BLUE river) and waterfall. Swimming is not allowed in the National Park but will be available outside of the park boundaries. A typical Costa Rican lunch will be served. The last stop on the tour will be the Sloths Sanctuary at Ranas Bijagua. Here 2 different species of sloths (2 toed & 3 toed) living in their natural habitat along with a variety of frogs, birds, and monkeys.

Payment and Cancellation Policy: 

A 20% deposit is required when booking. Full Payment is due prior to the start of the tour. Cancelation up to 48 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund. No refunds for cancelation less than 48 hours before the experience’s start time. No changes can be made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
