Overview

Take this journey on the Tempisque River adjacent to the Palo Verde National Park. During the wet season the waters of the Rio Tempisque form large marshes and wetlands that are an attractive stopover for the 200 plus species of birds. Some live here full time and some are migrating over Costa Rica. Many of these international travelers need a waypoint or a rest. Along this tranquil river you will see American crocodiles, iguanas, monkeys and, did I mention birds? The adventures will conclude with an enjoyable typical Costa Rican lunch cooked over a wood-fire. The drive to the river is approximately 2 hours from the Coco area with a few beautiful surprise stops.

Payment and Cancellation Policy: 

A 20% deposit is required when booking. Full Payment is due prior to the start of the tour. Cancelation up to 48 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund. No refunds for cancelation less than 48 hours before the experience’s start time. No changes can be made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
